boo boo on my nosy

today ( acutally wednesday but mom is a bit tardy with her posts :-()
i was walking with gma and gpa to have my lovely front nails trimmed. a lady told them that i was very beautiful, but asked what happened to my little nosy. grandpa looked and saw that i have a scrape and swelling there. i must have accidently run into one of the prickly bushes in their yard. when i got home to my mommy, she gave it a big kiss and put some neosporin on it which i promptly tried to lick off, but even my long tongue couldn't reach it. oh well, it doesn't really hurt but i just love getting the xtra kisses and attention:-)

looooong walk with mom and dad

yesterday i went for a 3 hour walk with mom and dad. we started out toward the culver city doggie park, but changed directions and ended up near target. we veered in and out of some nice neighborhoods. it seems that culver city isn't very dog friendly since none of the parks allow doggies. how very very rude! my feelings were hurt. anyway we just walked on the sidewalks. i just strutted my usual proud walk. mom and dad were annoyed with me because i did pick up some stuff from the sidewalk. i must admit, it wasn't tooo tasty. i like my own food sooooo much better. ran into the futon at dad's when i got home and settled in for a nice nap.
when mom came over i realized i hadn't even eaten my dinner so i quickly jumped up and asked for it. luckily, mom knew just what i wanted and i really enjoyed it. then i found that i was still hungry after my long walk so i got lots of xtra carrots and some apples.
i love my days with mommy and daddy. i love my other days with gma and gpa too!!!!!

security risk

i had a fun time going to the airport last friday with my gma, gpa and brandon.
brandon was driving into the airport to catch his london flight when the security police guy motioned him to stop his car. of course brandon did this, even though he was annoyed since he was a bit late for his flight (his own fault).
then the policeman leaned into the car and pointed to me and asked if i was a minpin! brandon told him that of course i was, and then policemen told me that he likes minpins and that i was very very beautiful!!!!! imagine that everyone. me, xena warrior princess, i was officially declared beautiful by the airport police!!!!!
i got a laugh because brandon, gma and gpa thought that he would tell us that minpins aren't allowed to go to the airport. how silly, especially since i have already flown!

a hard day for me

tuesday was a very stressful day for me, a very bad bee stung my little foot!!!
it hurt me very much and grandma and grandpa told me that it was very very swollen. they took me to dr. shane's office but she wasn't there. another very nice other dr was there. she was very careful with my sore little foot. she took me to a back room so she could look at it very carefully to make sur the stinger wasn't still in my little foot. then she gave me some medicine and sent me on my merry way. on the way home, we stopped at the park so i could play. by then i felt better and i loved being at the park. the only good part of this whole experience was that i got some extra sympathy food and a lot of attention
hopefully i can avoid these creatures in the future.

i had a very nice saturday, thank you. first i slept in till about 8:30. mom really liked that part. then miranda,mom and i went to frontrunners to buy nana some running shoes and work shoes. i was excited to go for a car ride. in the store this lady just came at me at petted my nosey and head without even asking me or mom. i kind of gave her a low growl and the silly lady asked."oh she is saying something". i was nice enough not to bite her, but really, such bad manners! the nana went out to try out her running shoes and i kind of whimpered because i didn't know where she had gone. but the all was well when she returned=)
then we came home and i took the opportunity to eat my sister dryer's catfood while nana was in the bathroom. whoa, mom was really mad at me and didn't give me any treats for the rest of the day=(
then later, dad,mom and i went to watch nana at her soccer game. i got to go on my long leash and we walked around the fields looking for nana's team. finally we found it and i saw nana and wanted to go to her. mom said i had to just sit with dad and her because nana was playing soccer. all of the ladies were kicking a big ball all over the place. every once in a while they all cheered. mom and dad also cheered. really didn't see what all of the fuss was about. i just wanted to go to my nana. well after all of these whistles blew, i finally got to go and see nana. all of her friends thought i was pretty cute. well, i had a nice dinner and i will hunker down and nap till dad says it is time to go out. a very nice day indeed!!!

wow, the weekend is finally here! i had another great week at gma and gpa's but mom's week was long and draining. we are going to spend a nice 2 days together and hope it lasts a very very long time. last night was not so cool for me. brandon is here from san diego, and mom, dad, bg and my grandparents decided to go to dinner WITHOUT ME. imagine that! so i was taken home to mom's and no sooner did i get there , they all left. i had to stay and hang out with my sister dryer. i don't tell anyone but she and i have a great time when we stay together, just our secret. finally after about an hour and a half, mom and dad trooped in. i was actually asleep (shhhh). but when they came in the door i had to show them how traumatized i was, so i cried and cried. i sure tried to make them feel guilty but not sure how well it worked. anyway, now i will have a lazy morning in my slanket and enjoy my day

hello everyone, this is my new cousin, brando homuth kennedy, he is kyndra's and ian's newly adopted puppy, i can't wait to meet him! he is much smaller than my other cousin rigby
i had a very nice sleep last night. i am at home with my miranda now. after grandpa goes to the dmv, i will go to his house and play. mommy says i must go on a diet because i weigh 12.5lbs. she is worried that the xtra weight will hurt my bad knees. i guess she is right but i am not looking forward to being given less food.

my day at grandma's

i had a great time at my grandma and grandpa's house today. i almost caught another squirrel but grandpa yelled at me to stop so i did.
will see what my evening brings, will probably hand out with mommy and daddy, daddy will then take me out to do my business

new cousin brando!!!!

a big day for little x, she learned that she now has a new cousin, brando!
mom called kyndra tonight and kj said that they have a new additions to their family. on friday, 10/16, kyndra and iain adopted little brando. he is a 2 year old chiuhuahua-terrier-doxy mix.
i saw his video a little while ago and i love him so much already. so do mommy and daddy.
i cannot wait to meet the little guy.
otherwise i had a slow day. slept in late with daddy, the mommy went to the store and daddy took me for a very nice walk.
i had a great dinner and breakfast and i am getting sleepy now.
tomorrow is back to work for my parents so my grandparents will pick me up and we will have a great day playing in their backyard squirrel hunting and going for a walk probably to the park and westside pavilion

it has been a slow day for little miss x, very very hot. the only she took me for only 2 short walks but now that it is a bit cooler, she will go out again soon and then later with her daddy

xena had sleepover

i slept at grandma's and grandpa's last night. grandma and i watched the angel game. i stayed outside in the backyard for most of the day to watch for my squirrel friends. they teased and taunted me. i ran after them but didn't catch any today. it's ok because i had a fun time anyway. in a little while mom is coming to get me and we will do fun stuff. i miss mom and dad, but i love to be with my grandparents too.
